« There’s nothing so rewarding as mastering the discourse of a new field, then using that knowledge to craft beautiful and authentic texts. ”

When the head of translation at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise and senior lecturer at the University of Geneva calls you up and asks if you have a place on your team for one of his brightest students, you pay attention. That’s how we met Rachel Hewitt.

Rachel accepted our invitation to become a permanent member of the Anglocom team after a short internship in summer 2015 that turned the spotlight on her incredible talent. She hails from British Columbia, where she earned a bachelor of arts in French and English literature at UBC before heading to Switzerland for her master’s in translation.

Today Rachel is a key member of our globally aware team of language professionals—and a reassuring presence for our clientele.
