At the invitation of Quebec’s Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés (OTTIAQ), Anglocom president Grant Hamilton will be leading a three-hour training session on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
The first hour will be a geography primer for translators—how to avoid the geographic traps that lurk in texts. The second will be a fun exercise in spotting and eradicating gallicisms from texts translated from French. The third and final hour will be on verbs tenses and how they differ between English and French.
The workshop is taking place at the OTTIAQ office at 2021 Avenue Union, Suite 1108, Montreal (McGill metro station). Click here to register.
